Today's post is from your friendly librarian. Let me first say how much I enjoy reading good young adult fiction. This book makes me wonder why I didn't stay in that happy pool of reading. This book was hard to put down, but not because it was a cliff-hanger:

We Are Water by Wally Lamb

Ouch. Good guys finish last in this book. I can't really say more than that without ruining the plot in a book that explores the hazards of losing control and keeping secrets, but also the downside of letting secrets out in complicated family/love relationships.Reading for "grown ups," only.
